While studying data analysis in one of my classes, I came across an interesting report that I decided to analyse and visualize based on the data scavenged.

My General Findings

People in countries with smaller populations tend to be happier than those with a large population count

Reasoning:

Countries with a smaller population such as Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Norway, and Canada overall had a greater healthy life expectancy, more social support, and generally more happiness than countries of larger populations such as Afghanistan, Albania, and Bangladesh.

Countries in Europe have the highest happiness score whereas countries in Africa have the least

Reasoning:

Based on the data from the report, most countries located in Europe had a greater life expectancy, social support, freedom to make life choices, and as a result a lower perception of corruption than countries in Africa, Asia, and South America.

Health Expectancy: Europe vs. Africa

Countries with a higher level of social support and freedom to make life choices had a greater life expectancy and overall happiness level than countries with the opposite

Reasoning:

The data indicates that countries where citizens received more social support and freedom to make personal life choices had a greater life ladder, lower perception of corruption, and general happiness.

It is no mystery that citizens living in countries of smaller populations will potentially have more outreach and access to support than countries of large populations where resources might be scattered or better yet, misappropriated.
